Episode 129: Welcome back to Real Health Radio. This week it’s a solo episode, and I’m exploring the topic of life expectancy.
As part of this show, I dig into the current life expectancy rates for the U.S. and the U.K., and explore several possibilities and ideas for why we’re seeing trends go in this direction.

Thoroughly enjoyed the information on this podcast Chris . I’d be interested to know how Australia is doing learning about how the US life expectancy is falling and the reasons why this is happening that you shared.
Eye opener. Thank you .
Hey Geraldine,
I haven’t looked into the Australian figures in any detail. I know that life expectancy is continuing to increase but I don’t know how this breaks down based on geography or socioeconomic factors. The figures should be listed on the ABS site at http://www.abs.gov.au/ if you do a bit digging.
