Dean Burnett is a doctor of neuroscience, former psychiatry lecturer, sometimes comedian, regular media pundit and, as of 2018, a full time author.
His PhD thesis, completed in 2009, was on the role of the hippocampus in configural learning. His first book, The Idiot Brain, was an international bestseller, having been translated into over 20 languages and counting. His second book is called The Happy Brain.
